Alondra is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland who is dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and culturally responsive space for her clients. She offers therapy in both English and Spanish for children, adolescents, adults, parents, and families in Bethesda, MD, with a specialty in working with preschool-aged children.

Alondra believes in empowering her clients to reach their goals and full potential through an integrative and compassionate approach. She tailors therapy to each individual’s unique needs, helping clients build insight, develop coping and regulation skills, and create meaningful change.

She holds a certification in Somatic Embodiment and Regulation Strategies and is currently working toward her Registered Play Therapist™ credential. Alondra earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University.

Prior to joining Bethesda Play Therapy and Healing Center, Alondra worked as a therapeutic coach with children and as a crisis counselor. She has experience supporting children and teens and works closely with families to address developmental, emotional, and behavioral needs.

She supports clients navigating a wide range of concerns, including:

  • trauma and stress-related concerns
  • behavioral challenges
  • relationship and family difficulties
  • social challenges
  • substance use
  • life transitions and personal growth

Alondra integrates a variety of evidence-based and relational approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-based therapy, person-centered therapy, directive and non-directive play therapy, and Relational-Cultural Therapy.

She works collaboratively with clients and families to create a therapy experience that is warm, individualized, and supportive of long-term growth and well-being.

In her free time, Alondra enjoys spending time with family, listening to music, reading, exercising, and exploring new coffee shops.
